As the CEO of Cal-Am Properties for over 29 years, Cory Sukert has adapted to multiple industries. Combining classroom learning with application in real-world settings prepared Cory Sukert for his career.

Between 1983 and 1987, Mr. Sukert attended the University of Miami, earning his bachelor’s degree in business. He learned technical skills like financial analysis and interpreting data, which he applied at a South Florida engineering firm. His market research skills enabled him to enter the real estate industry well-equipped to make decisions aligned with different customer demographics’ needs at Cal-Am Properties. Group projects taught him leadership skills, including time and resource management and delegating tasks, which he used as an administrator at a prominent law firm in LA.

To gain practical experience, Mr. Sukert applied theories to real data by performing case studies and simulations about companies. He also created and presented marketing plans and business proposals describing customer insights, market analysis results, and branding strategies.
